If you’ve ever wondered what it actually takes to run multiple businesses under one personal brand, today’s your lucky day. I’m pulling back the curtain on my 2025 tech stack—everything I use to keep Hey Erica Smith and my three businesses running smoothly and profitably.
First, a little context: Hey Erica Smith is my umbrella brand. I’m the face of the business, but under that umbrella, I’m running three separate businesses that each operate independently.
GeauxGetter Marketing is our boutique fractional CMO agency. We work with a small number of clients each quarter, helping them streamline everything from landing pages to ads, content, websites, and sales processes. Think of it like holding someone’s hand through their marketing so they can actually get results without breaking the bank.
Then there’s GeauxGetter Society—our course and community membership. This is where entrepreneurs get all the tools and training they need to run their business. We have classes on content creation, copywriting, design, operations, and more. Every month, I host masterclasses and community events to keep things fun and interactive. We’ve tried a bunch of platforms over the years, but right now, we’re loving Mighty Networks. It gives us everything we need to grow, engage, and connect our members in a really seamless way.
And, of course, The GeauxGetter Podcast. I drop a new episode every week through our partnership with Spotify, and we’re testing out the Spotify Audience Network to bring in bigger sponsorships. It’s been a game-changer for getting our message out there and building our brand.
Now, let’s talk the tech that makes it all possible. Here’s what we’re currently using in 2025:
- Showit – Where all our websites live. I love that I can design fast, functional sites without losing my creative touch. Sales pages that used to take 15 hours? Now just a few minutes.
- Flodesk – Email marketing that’s clean, relatable, and lets me inject personality into every message.
- HoneyBook – Manages contracts, client projects, and calendars for both GeauxGetter Marketing and brand deals. Integrates with Zoom for meetings.
- Canva – My graphic design BFF. Even as a trained designer, Canva makes creating on-brand visuals easy and fast.
- CapCut – Video editing platform for short-form content. Makes handling trending sounds way easier and speeds up workflow.
- ClickUp – Project management tool where all our projects, deadlines, and workflows live. Keeps everything organized and on track.
- Spotify – Our podcast hosting platform, now with opportunities for sponsorships through the Audience Network.
- Mighty Networks – Hosting platform for GeauxGetter Society courses and community. Provides the infrastructure for engagement, growth, and a seamless app experience.
- Google Workspace – Email, Docs, spreadsheets, and collaboration across the team.
- Gusto – Payroll platform that makes managing payments simple and efficient.
- Zoom – Video meetings and client calls, integrated with HoneyBook for scheduling.
- Facebook – Team communication, file storage, and scheduling. Perfect for internal collaboration.
Honestly, this stack has been evolving for years, but right now, it feels like everything is in its sweet spot. Each tool has a purpose, and together, they make running multiple businesses under one personal brand not just possible—but profitable.
If you’re curious about any of these tools, how I use them, or why I chose them, shoot me a DM. I love geeking out about tech and sharing what works!
